Course-Specific Terms

Last updated: February 2026

These Course-Specific Terms apply to enrolment in the Professional Makeup Artist Program ("Program") offered by The Online Makeup School, operated by Farrell Media Pty Ltd. They form part of your agreement with us, together with our Website & Student Platform Terms and Privacy Policy.

If there is any inconsistency, these Course-Specific Terms prevail for this Program.

1. Program Structure

The Program consists of four (4) units. Each unit includes a practical assessment project. Students must successfully complete all four assessment projects to be eligible for a certificate.

2. Duration of Access

Your enrolment includes access to the Program platform and assessment support for 12 months from your date of purchase ("Access Period").

During the Access Period, you may:

  • View course materials
  • Download worksheets and templates
  • Submit assessment projects
  • Receive grading and feedback

Access to the online platform ends automatically at the end of the Access Period.

Downloaded materials remain licensed to you for personal reference only and may not be shared, distributed, or reused for commercial purposes.

3. Assessment Submission Window

All assessment projects must be submitted within your Access Period.

Submissions received after your Access Period expires will not be accepted unless you purchase an approved Program extension.

4. What Counts as a Complete Submission

Each project brief includes a checklist of required materials.

A submission is considered received only when all required components are included. We may decline to grade incomplete submissions. Grading timeframes begin only once a complete submission is received.

Repeated submission of incomplete assessments may count toward your allowed assessment attempts.

5. Grading Timeframes

We aim to provide feedback within 10–14 business days of receiving a complete submission.

During peak periods, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, grading may take longer. Timeframes are targets, not guarantees.

Feedback may be delivered in written, annotated, audio, or video format at our discretion.

6. Assessment Attempts

You are permitted two (2) graded attempts per assessment project within your Access Period.

If you do not pass after two attempts, additional reassessment opportunities may be offered at our discretion and may require payment of an additional fee or purchase of a Program extension.

7. Support Boundaries

Your enrolment includes grading and feedback on submitted assessments only.

General tutoring, mentoring, career advice, or one-on-one support outside formal assessment feedback is not included in the Program. Additional support services may be offered separately for an additional fee.

8. Certificate Eligibility

To receive a Certificate of Attainment for the Professional Makeup Artist Program, you must:

  • Successfully pass all four assessment projects
  • Submit all assessments within your Access Period
  • Pay all applicable Program fees in full

Certificates are issued at our discretion based on demonstrated competency. The certificate is an educational recognition only and does not represent a government-accredited qualification, professional licence, or industry certification.

9. Extensions

If you require more time to complete the Program, you may request a Program extension before or after your Access Period expires.

Extensions may be granted at our discretion and are subject to payment of an extension fee at our current rates.

10. Academic Integrity

All submitted work must be your own. Use of another person's work, copying from online sources, or submitting work completed by someone else may result in assessment failure, cancellation of enrolment, or refusal to issue a certificate.

11. Legacy Students (Enrolled Before 10 February 2026)

Students who enrolled in the Program before 10 February 2026 will retain access to submit assessments and receive grading until 10 February 2027.

After this date, continued access to assessment grading and certification pathways will require purchase of a Program extension under these updated terms.

12. Changes to the Program

We may update Program content, assessment formats, or delivery methods at any time to improve learning outcomes. These changes do not extend your Access Period.
